          Ruffini's rule

The Ruffini's rule is a factorization technique introduced by the mathematician Paolo Ruffini in the 18th century, which allows polynomial factorization under certain conditions, as expressed by the homonymous Ruffini's theorem.

The importance of Ruffini's method lies in the fact that it works even where factorization techniques derived from notable products fail.

In this lesson, we present Ruffini's factorization method by describing its various steps and showing how to apply it in exercises, with appropriate examples.

We anticipate that in subsequent lessons (division of polynomials and remainder theorem) we will deal with the theoretical aspects underlying the rule, studying them in detail: here, however, we focus on practical aspects.
