          Hideki Tojo was born in Kojimachi District Tokyo, Japan to the Japanese Army infantry Lieutenant Hidenori Tojo on December 30, 1884.

          After graduating from the Imperial Military Academy and the Military Staff College, Tojo was sent to Berlin as Japan’s military attache after World War I.
