Per Petterson (born 18 July in Oslo) is a Norwegian novelist.

Early life Peterson was born on 12 June in Edmonton, Alberta.
He has since published a number of novels with good reviews. To Siberia (), set in the Second World War, was published in English in and nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize.
